412 TMG Support (LVL 4 Project Management Support) / Global Power Bomber

About the role

This is a part-time position with some telework authorized. The role supports the 412 Test Wing in managing numerous Research, Development, Test & Evaluation projects for bomber aircraft across various project management phases, including planning, provisioning, analysis, and reporting. The position requires independent execution of duties related to acquisition project management and organizational workflows, without supervisory responsibilities over Government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of DoD and Air Force system, subsystem, and equipment acquisition, as well as program management procedures for development, procurement, production, logistics support, and employment techniques.
• Perform program management functions, coordinating tasks across engineering, program control, configuration management, test, manufacturing, quality assurance, and integrated logistics support.
• Develop, analyze, and report on acquisition strategy methodologies, progress, and mitigation strategies to achieve desired performance.
• Schedule, guide, and coordinate participation to establish military, economic, and technical bases for acquisition programs throughout all lifecycle phases (conceptual, validation, engineering, manufacturing, production, and deployment).
• Prioritize, research, and analyze tasks with unclear objectives, variables, or programmatic risks, including creating "what-if" scenarios and consulting subject matter experts.
• Manage tasks in a multi-customer, multi-project environment with critical time constraints, congressional oversight, and real-world security/safety implications for the U.S. and foreign nations.
• Demonstrate expertise in weapons integration and flight test disciplines and processes.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the applicable discipline, with a master’s degree (or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years of additional work experience as a substitute).
• Experience in project management for bomber aircraft flight test or other DoD flight test programs, including cost, schedule, performance, and risk analysis/management.
• Ability to develop project baselines, Statements of Capability, Program Introduction Documents, Flying Hour Programs, test schedules, briefings, and reports.
• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance, subject to government security investigation.
• Valid driver’s license (required for insurance purposes for company business travel).
• Ability to pass a background check for access to specific working location installation bases.

Up to $60,000.
