Our Commitment

We hold a deep commitment to rigorous, critical, and reflective practice. Clients and referrers can be assured that our practitioners are serious, accountable, and professionally grounded in both therapeutic skill and ongoing engagement with social science research. In complex legal and family matters, our work draws on qualitative and quantitative research evidence to ensure defensible, precise, and ethically sound observations and reports. We engage with broader social science research to understand how families form and fracture, how violence and coercive control operate, and how cohesion and disunity unfold across relationships, generations, and societies. We investigate and uphold ethical values such as respect, safety, fairness, accountability, and responsibility across diverse communities.

We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains and respect their enduring connection to this land. As imperfect allies, we strive to keep the lived experiences of Australia’s First Nations people at the forefront of our work.
