Schedule
Sun 10p‑9a, Mon 11p‑9a, Tues 11p‑9a. Part‑time: 31 hours per week.
Pay
$17.50‑$19 per hour. Paid training provided. Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 for full‑time and $500 for part‑time employees.
Responsibilities
- Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active in their lives as possible.
- Assist with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc.
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments, banking, community outings, and administer medications.
- Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and medical guidelines.
- Ensure safe evacuation of individuals from the home in emergencies.
- Maintain required certifications and comply with agency policies and DDS regulations.
Qualifications
- Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
- Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
- Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
- Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
- 18+ years of age with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, overnights, or double‑shifts as needed.
