Sebago Elementary School is a small K-5 elementary school with about 120 students located along the shores of Sebago Lake in the town of Sebago. We are looking for a part-time speech therapist for two days per week beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess and evaluate student progress in speech and language skills
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Maine
  • Experience working with children in a school setting
  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for working with children and families

  • Proficiency in using speech therapy software and tools

Pay

Schedule

The speech therapist will work two days per week, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
