About the role

Transform lives by delivering, teaching and managing effective educational programming in youth development to include current and emerging youth issues. Engage youth through diverse learning strategies at appropriate places and time. Travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational programming in youth development to include current and emerging youth issues.
• Engage youth through diverse learning strategies at appropriate places and time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, to be completed by start date.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, keep accurate records, and prepare reports.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet University driver eligibility criteria is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in youth development, education, agriculture, human sciences, or closely related field.
• Experience working with youth through other organizations as an employee or volunteer.
• Previous 4-H or teaching experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet and data management software.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
• Social media skills.
