Job Summary

Based on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company provided CAD drawings\blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
• Helper and Apprentice level proficiency with specific product installation procedures.
• Install of Locking Corner Shelves, adjust hampers, install fillers and scribe mold.
• Install and adjust doors and side by side drawer stacks.
• Install fusion Slat wall system and basic floor based systems.
• Install basic countertops, islands and all types of backing.
• Install flat trip both base and top trim.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately.

Qualifications

• Maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Entry level, experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills and/or experience installing offices to furniture quality level finishes
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Maintain a strong work ethic
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
