About the Role

California Closets of Charleston, SC is hiring for an installer position. Join an elite brand experiencing explosive growth with ample advancement opportunities. Work with a team to ensure seamless design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of custom storage solutions that transform clients’ lives.

Based on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware, and other materials. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in homes or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings and blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
• Demonstrate helper and apprentice-level proficiency with specific product installation procedures.
• Install locking corner shelves, adjust hampers, install fillers, and scribe mold.
• Install and adjust doors and side-by-side drawer stacks.
• Install Fusion Slat wall systems and basic floor-based systems.
• Install basic countertops, islands, and all types of backing.
• Install flat trip (both base and top trim).
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company-provided vehicles safely. Report any vehicle issues immediately.

Requirements

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Entry-level experience with common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills and/or experience installing offices to furniture-quality finishes.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $20.00 to $30.00, depending on experience.
