3S Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is part of our maintenance team that supports and troubleshoots process equipment in our clean pharma manufacturing facility. The primary responsibilities include preventative/ predictive maintenance, equipment on-call support, and executing work orders.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative/ predictive maintenance and calibration on production equipment.
• Schedules manpower and/or contractors as required, and works with key suppliers to identify, source, and procure spare parts.
• Supports production through equipment on-call maintenance and upkeep for the general facility.
• Executes work orders through SAP as required.
• Identifies and suggests opportunities for improvement as they relate to infrastructure.
• Follows up on equipment performance, suggests and introduces improvements, and participates in the development and upgrade of maintenance procedures.
• Maintains the consumption and usage of critical spares, monitors inventory flow, and ensures adherence to budget.
• Monitors equipment capability to ensure machines are functioning according to parameters.
• Troubleshoots minor problems on production equipment.
• Ensures a smooth transition between shifts which may require extended hours or flexible shifts.
• Adheres to all safety rules in accordance with SOP’s, GMP as well as federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Trains new technicians and/or trainees as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a cleanroom environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
