About the role
The Maintenance Technician is part of our maintenance team that supports and troubleshoots process equipment in our clean pharma manufacturing facility. The primary responsibilities include preventative/ predictive maintenance, equipment on-call support, and executing work orders.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative/ predictive maintenance and calibration on production equipment.
- Schedules manpower and/or contractors as required, and works with key suppliers to identify, source, and procure spare parts.
- Supports production through equipment on-call maintenance and upkeep for the general facility.
- Executes work orders through SAP as required.
- Identifies and suggests opportunities for improvement as they relate to infrastructure.
- Follows up on equipment performance, suggests and introduces improvements, and participates in the development and upgrade of maintenance procedures.
- Maintains the consumption and usage of critical spares, monitors inventory flow, and ensures adherence to budget.
- Monitors equipment capability to ensure machines are functioning according to parameters.
- Troubleshoots minor problems on production equipment.
- Ensures a smooth transition between shifts which may require extended hours or flexible shifts.
- Adheres to all safety rules in accordance with SOP’s, GMP as well as federal, state and local safety regulations.
- Trains new technicians and/or trainees as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a cleanroom environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Schedule
Rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
