3rd Shift Warehouse Associate - Kalamazoo, MI

Pickup and Loading

Picking and loading cases of beer, wine, and spirits for a top beverage sales company. This involves:

• Arriving to the warehouse on time and ready to work.
• Collecting a pallet jack, scanner, and iPod.
• Picking cases of beverages assigned to you through your iPod.
• Using a pallet jack to move product and organize the cases on a skid.
• Wrapping the skid to secure the cases for shipping.
• Printing out the skid tag and placing the skid in the loading zone.
• Repeating this process several times for the night.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Associates work full-time, Monday-Thursday nights (6:30pm until all orders for the next day have been picked and our delivery trucks are fully loaded with beverages).

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software.
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times.
• An attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet goals with accuracy.
• The ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• The ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day.

Pay

The minimum compensation for this role is listed below; pay will be determined based on experience: $18.50 per hour.

Schedule

Our 3rd Shift Warehouse Associates work full-time, Monday-Thursday nights (That's right...a 3-day weekend!) from 6:30pm until all orders for the next day have been picked and our delivery trucks are fully loaded with beverages.
