Responsibilities
- Setup and operate a variety of thread rolling machines to produce quality products.
- Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance.
- Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work.
- Load and unload product in the process using a forklift.
- Read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions.
- Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications.
- Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good attendance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- May need to train on a different shift.
