3rd Shift Security Guard (Th, F, and Saturday)

JBS in Worthington, MN is hiring for an overnight shipping security coordinator who is self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision at our guard shack. This position ensures only authorized personnel enter the facility, signs trucks in and out, and performs other duties as assigned. Works both indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor
• Coordinate with Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic
• Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping dates, times, and locations
• Enter Available and Outbound times into Shop Floor
• Maintain Outbound Logs
• Weigh and maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
• Assist with Security, as needed
• May work as backup for Load Planners
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent computer skills required
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Excellent people skills
• Great work ethic
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Good attendance record
• Resume required
• Valid Class D driver’s license
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Working Conditions

• Security Guard Shack, exposed to hot and cold conditions
• 12-hour shifts: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
