3rd Shift Seasonal General Production - $17.70/hour

About the Role

Following established procedures and working under supervision, you will perform job duties in production, plant services, distribution, and central palletizing. This role supports multiple departments and requires flexibility to fill in for call-offs, leaves, vacations, and absences.

Responsibilities

• Palletize 20-30 lb. finished cases, monitor case counts, and ensure case quality.
• Operate the tote station safely, including tow motors, and maintain weight and quality information.
• Fill in for designated departments during call-offs, leaves, vacations, or absences.
• In the Production Department, fulfill duties as mixer, scaler/relief, depositor operator, and laminator operator.
• Work in Plant Services on weekends and as needed during the week.
• Fill in for Distribution on an as-needed basis.
• Train as a back-up for other operator positions.
• Follow all safety work rules and complete tasks safely.
• Use SAP as required and follow approved procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain good work area housekeeping practices according to 5S standards.
• Assist with rework functions and perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Follow Quality Control standards, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices.
• Support teamwork and communicate respectfully with all levels of employees.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two years of related manufacturing experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads on wheeled dollies.
• Ability to work in a changing environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Must work well in a team environment and be available for overtime as needed.
