About the role

This position is located in Manteca and reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. The role operates on the 3rd shift, focusing on cleaning and sanitizing production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways.
• Complete mandatory safety and food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Work hands-on at high speed, including lifting over 50 pounds with minimal supervision.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks in extreme temperatures, with exposure to moving machinery, hot water, and slippery floors.
• Work with multiple chemicals while using proper training and personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and/or crawl for extended periods.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion (e.g., hand scrubbing, running a hose).
• Good attendance and safety records.

Working Conditions

• Production and maintenance settings with exposure to chemicals, machinery, and knives.
