3rd Shift Production Supervisor (in S. WI)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and controls department processes in accordance with schedules and company procedures.
• Develops, trains, and motivates hourly employees through subordinates to acquire maximum efficiency, productivity, cooperation, and morale.
• Anticipates delays, devises procedures to prevent or minimize loss of man-hours and unscheduled interruptions, and performs daily requirements to achieve maximum production at minimum cost.
• Attends required meetings to ensure open communication with other departments on safety, quality, productivity, and general production needs.
• Oversees department personnel to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality procedures, general housekeeping, and safety guidelines, including maintaining inventory of departmental raw materials and supplies.
• Interacts with other supervisors to expedite changes in departmental operations, meet manufacturing, product, scheduling, and quality requirements, and assist in cost reduction and quality improvement projects.

Employment Standards

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years formal supervisory training or related experience.
• Foundry experience a plus.
• Ability to organize, direct, and motivate people.
• Potential for further development.

SALARY RANGE

$70k to $80k per year DOE.
