About the role
This role supports production performance by enforcing safety procedures, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and achievement of production goals.
- Delegate responsibilities to team members and maintain accountability for performance outcomes.
- Provide training and cross-training, conduct evaluations and performance reviews, and initiate disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Hire, coach, develop, monitor, and evaluate team members and recommend personnel actions for approval.
- Generate and review daily operational reports to ensure shift continuity and address issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through monitoring and supervising cycle counts.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate maintenance needs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with the Quality Department to develop and oversee site quality standards.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve plant performance and operational efficiencies.
- Document workplace injuries, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to reinforce safety priorities.
- Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Associate degree with an emphasis in management or supervision preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as MES, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a production-driven environment.

Annual Salary: $71,000 - $97,500/Year
