3rd shift Network Technician

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Network Operations Support Technician to join a dynamic 24/7 support team in Montgomery, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and maintaining critical statewide LAN/WAN networks, including wireless, VPN, point-to-point, and campus configurations across multiple agencies.
• Responding to network alarms.
• Tracing and troubleshooting issues.
• Updating incident records.
• Sustaining the reliability of voice and data services.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience with LAN/WAN maintenance and support.
• Minimum 1 year of call center or service desk experience.
• Knowledge of voice and data circuits with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with incident management systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• At least 1 year of systems analysis or service desk experience.
• A High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Shift work, including training on 2nd and 1st shifts before transitioning to the overnight schedule (12am - 8am).

Skills

Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
