Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Absorb equipment installations, setups, changeovers, calibrations, and adjustments to support production requirements.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders within the CMMS system.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they impact production.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with machine operators and production personnel to troubleshoot performance issues.
- Support machine startups, operational checks, and equipment optimization efforts.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.
- Adhere to and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, arc flash, and other critical safety programs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend process and equipment improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
- Support cost-reduction, waste-reduction, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include heat, noise, dust, and required PPE.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
- Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, sensors, and controls.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement or reliability-centered maintenance programs.
