3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor (12hr Shift)

Shift Break Down
This position is for 3rd Shift. Availability is required for 1st and 3rd Shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. Training will be Monday through Friday from 7am-3:30pm and lasts approximately 2 months. Upon completion, the position moves to 3rd shift on 12-hour shifts from 7pm-7am with a 4-3-3-4 rotation. Weekends are included.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute the continuous improvement plan of plant equipment utilization.
- Manage preventative and predictive maintenance of process equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC and computer-controlled devices.
- Troubleshoot minor plumbing, building repair, and maintenance.
- Train others on the team.
- Maintain performance and efficiency of utility-related process equipment.
- Recognize and rectify deviations from optimal performance.
- Manage maintenance department labor.
- Affirm compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies for environmental discharges.
- Show command of regulations.
- Affirm compliance with employee relations’ policies and programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Experience with electro-mechanical, pneumatics, PLC controllers, and process instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Good interpersonal skills and team player.
- Safe work habits.
- Ability to train others.
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical field (preferred).
- 5 years in-depth experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration and steam boiler systems.
- Demonstrated communication, technical skills, and supervisor/management experience.
- Previous budget management responsibilities and control system experiences.
- Excellence in aligning performance for success, building successful teams, planning and organizing, effective decision making, quality orientation, managing conflict, and strategic communication skills.
Pay Range
The salary range for this position is $81,700 - $114,000/year*. The actual salary varies based on factors such as budget availability, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education, as well as internal equity.
