Responsibilities
- Performing routine, scheduled maintenance on a variety of equipment (presses, mills, ovens, shears, pleaters, motors, conveyor systems etc.) to prevent breakdowns and extend asset lifespan
- Lubricating parts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using observation, technical manuals, and precision diagnostic tools
- Assisting with the installation, assembly, and testing of new machinery and systems to ensure they function correctly before deployment
- Adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations, including conducting safety checks and training others on proper equipment usage
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for documentation and inventory management
- Responding promptly to urgent repair requests and equipment failures to minimize operational downtime
Requirements
