Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Fin Tube milling centers to perform progressive milling operations while maintaining precise tolerances and finishing requirements per customer drawings.
  • Inspect in-process material as specified in work instructions; report non-conforming material and follow correct disposition methods.
  • Conduct quality checks during production, including identifying defects in tubes and troubleshooting tools and production elements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace, ensuring proper use of PPE, equipment safeguarding, and protective devices in accordance with EHS safety standards.
  • Record quality data, scrap counts, and material usage using WFS to ensure accurate inventory and product movement tracking.
  • Operate overhead crane as needed and adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Work directly with team lead for work assignments and report to Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for all personnel.
  • Report all incidents that may impact the work area, material production, or team members to the supervisor.
  • Suggest job-related improvements and cost-saving ideas.
  • Perform set-ups and quality troubleshooting as instructed to minimize production impact.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. (preferred).
  • CNC machining experience (a plus).
  • Understanding of measurement math involving decimals, fractions, and basic math functions.
  • Manufacturing experience with knowledge of machine functions and interfaces, including HMI input/output, calibration methods, programming, printing/labeling auxiliaries, and direct computer input for production/order start and finish operations.

Physical Demands

  • Standing, walking, and negotiating stairs, ladders, elevated catwalks, and platforms in hot or cold production environments on slippery surfaces.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hat, ear plugs).
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs maximum.

Pay

Base Pay: $21.00/hr. – $21.00/hr. with a Shift Differential of $2.00/hr.

Schedule

3rd Shift Hybrid A: Monday–Wednesday, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am; Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am.
