Machine Operator 1 3rd Shift (Sun-Friday 10pm-6am)

About the role

Hiring for 3rd shift but may be required to train on a different shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines, including CMM, polish wheel, grinding machines, EDM, etc.
• Perform routine operations such as reading and interpreting process sheets, deburring and cleaning parts, and making minor offset changes with oversight.
• Frequently utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document results.
• Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and utilize communication log.
• Move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment (approximately 90% of the time).
• Transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at rate per standard work.
• Carry out tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Proficient with use of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Aptitude for mathematics, including ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.

Preferred qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operator experience.
