3rd shift Journeyworker HVAC

About the role

Reporting to the Facility Asset Reliability Supervisor, this position will perform the maintenance and repair of all facility HVAC systems and equipment at Perrigo, a Top 10 player in the European Consumer Self-Care market and the largest U.S. store brand provider of over-the-counter and infant formula products.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards.
• Implement proactive measures to prevent future problems.
• Maintain accurate records of HVAC maintenance, inspections, repairs, and prints.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Work with external vendors and contractors as required.
• Travel to other manufacturing and packaging sites within and outside of Allegan may be required.

Requirements

• Journeyman HVAC Technician preferred.
• High school diploma.
• History of good attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, extended hours, and other shifts as needed.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and perform heavy lifting.
• Own transportation is required.
