3rd Shift - Ink Maker/Ink Tech

About the role

INX International is seeking an Ink Maker/Ink Tech to tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind raw materials for manufacturing high-quality printing ink. Responsibilities

• Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks
• Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
• Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed
• Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
• Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
• Making QC adjustments as instructed
• Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
• Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
• Packaging the finished product
• Operating a forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic math, communications and mechanical skills
• Capable of managing multiple tasks
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs

Preferred qualifications

• Understanding of 5S workplace
• Knowledge of TPM
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends
