3rd Shift Housekeeping

Provides basic janitorial duties in offices, restrooms, and break areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean, mop, and vacuum rest areas, restrooms, water fountains, entrances, compactors, and offices on a daily basis.
• Refill paper goods, hand soaps, and sanitizers as needed.
• Restock Production supply cabinets.
• Ensure cleanliness of all other plant areas as assigned.
• Maintain exterior grounds free of litter and other debris.
• Perform any assignment or job task according to stated safety policies and procedures.
• Produce products adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies, and Procedures outlined in the Safe Quality Food Program.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot, and problem solve.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to promote and model teamwork.

Working Conditions

• Constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck.
• Frequent gripping, reaching, lifting, and pulling with left/right hands.
• Frequent handling of material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, and pushing/pulling/carrying.
• May require hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hard hats, and/or safety glasses.
• Product weight: up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$19.50 - $20.50 per hour. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.
