3rd Shift General Assembler

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles, tests, and packages according to the production schedule.
• Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
• Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
• Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems.
• Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Reports problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Six months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
• Basic computer knowledge (required).

Skills

• Works with various hand and power tools.
• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
• Interacts well with others on a team.
• Demonstrates flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
• Works alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
• Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
