3rd Shift entry Level Machine Operator-Finishing Range Utility

About the role

The Range Utility will perform the following jobs: On the Range - Entry & Exit Assistant Range Operator. On the Carmelizer - Carmelizer Operator and Packer IV.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality fabric and recognize unacceptable quality, taking corrective action
• Perform work safely
• Follow all job procedures
• May be asked to run another job if someone is out or production requirements make necessary
• Leave job in proper order for incoming shift
• Assist Maintenance as needed to ensure breakdowns are repaired as quickly as possible
• Perform 5S activities to maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Participate in Lean initiatives including, but not limited to, QDIP boards and Kaizen events
• Inspect the hoist using checklist at the beginning of each shift
