Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role
  • Experience with automated systems, conveyors, or robotics preferred / required
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience using tools to troubleshoot, repair and resolve maintenance issues
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use systems/software to track and manage work
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and integrity
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on increasing efficiency and improving processes
  • Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility, grounds, building systems, equipment, and AutoStore system; monitor performance and respond to issues as they arise
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and other equipment) to keep operations running smoothly
  • Maintain and coordinate required testing and service for Fire/Life Safety systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the facility, including lighting, minor repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces
  • Support day-to-day facility needs, including associate moves, equipment/furniture setup, spill cleanup, and general maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ongoing services (landscaping, janitorial, waste removal, etc.)
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas, including storage, warehouse, and maintenance spaces; properly maintain and store tools and equipment
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation for building systems and equipment
  • Identify, report, and address safety hazards, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
