3rd Shift Custodial Lead
What You'll Do
We are looking for a 3rd Shift Custodial Lead to join our team and support the Custodial Manager in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the Statehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong work ethic, the ability to coach and provide consistent feedback to staff, and a proactive approach to ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Supervise Staff: Provide work direction, training, and performance evaluations for assigned custodial staff.
Quality Control: Regularly inspect and quality check areas cleaned by staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
Coaching & Feedback: Offer constructive feedback and coaching to team members to promote professional development and ensure efficiency.
Custodial Duties: Participate in hands-on custodial tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, washing floors, walls, and doors, trash pick-up, polishing brass, dusting.
3rd Shift Leadership: Act in place of the Custodial Manager; take initiative and problem solve on 3rd Shift.

Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within custodial or facilities management.
Strong ability to inspect, provide feedback, and coach staff to improve performance.
Ability to perform a variety of custodial tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Physically perform manual labor & lift 50 pounds.
