3rd Shift Caregiver

About the role

Join our team at Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield as a Caregiver. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents. The position involves administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a welcoming environment with competitive pay rates.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Monitor for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor.
• Follow schedule and assist residents with repositioning.
• Adhere to procedures regarding accurate documentation of medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring resident safety.
• Assist other team members with their duties as necessary.
• Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
