3rd Shift Blender Operator

About the role

Seeking a production employee to manufacture and blend high-end gel coat chemical products (paint) for fiberglass-exterior products such as boats, RVs, bathtubs, and similar items.

Responsibilities

• Check the big-batch schedule to determine the product to be mixed during the shift.
• Obtain the appropriate batch slip from the production office.
• Review raw materials listed on the batch ticket and verify their availability.
• Record required information on the batch ticket.
• Mix batches according to procedures.
• Take samples from mix tanks and create spray-ups for color matches.
• Deliver samples, spray-ups, and batch tickets to the lab for testing.
• Work on other batches while testing is in progress.
• Pack out batches into containers per ticket instructions.
• Record weights and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Forklift operation experience.
• Production or manufacturing experience.

Schedule

Fully on-site position in Orlando, Florida, operating on two shifts Monday through Friday with plans for a third shift. Training available on first or second shift.

• 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (planned)
• Saturday shifts: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (required as needed)
• Overtime may be required.

Pay

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
