Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, proactive troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, automated equipment/conveyors, machinery and facility electrical systems
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex electrical, control, and automation issues to minimize equipment downtime and maintain high-volume production efficiency
- Install, test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, control panels, and related electrical equipment
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Prepare and maintain work instructions related to electrical maintenance, equipment operation, safety procedures, TPM activities, and standard work practices
- Fabricate, modify, or repair electrical components and wiring systems using appropriate electrical and plant tools as needed
- Ensure all electrical work is completed in compliance with company quality standards, OSHA regulations, electrical codes, safety requirements, and environmental policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, inspection reports, and inventory usage within the maintenance management system
- Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new electrical equipment, automation systems, and production machinery
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- Proven experience as a Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment or a similar industrial role
- Strong Electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, automated environment
