3rd Grade Teacher, St. Therese Seattle

About the role

St. Therese Catholic Academy (STCA) seeks an Elementary 3rd Grade teacher for the 26-27 school year. This is a self-contained role as part of our primary team but will be responsible for all Elementary Level Grade content. Specific assignments for additional time will be determined based on school needs and candidates' strengths.

Responsibilities

• Teach math, literacy, language arts & writing, science, social studies, and religion classes - at times sharing or exchanging with other teachers.
• Collaborate with colleagues and implement creative new ideas.
• Work with students of varying ability levels to ensure success.
• Lead by example and partner with colleagues and parents.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred).
• Understanding and genuine appreciation of children.
• Desire to work in a racially and economically diverse, faith-centered community.
• Ability to utilize educational technology in the classroom.

Preferred

• Active Catholic.
• Current Washington (or out of state) teaching certificate with a K-5 endorsement (preferred).

Pay

$40,000 - $50,000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
