3p-11p RN Nursing Supervisor

About the role

As a 3p-11p Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the evening shift, ensuring that all nursing staff are working together seamlessly to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Managing Nursing Staff: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of our nursing staff, providing guidance, education, and training as needed.
• Reviewing New Admissions: Conduct thorough assessments of new residents, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the necessary care and attention.
• Ensuring Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our residents, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that resident safety is always the top priority.
• Providing Education and Training: Offer educational programs and training sessions to our nursing staff, helping them stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and industry developments.
• Rounding All Units: Conduct regular rounds of all units, ensuring that residents are receiving the highest level of care and that any concerns or issues are addressed promptly.

Requirements

• RN preferred: While a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is not required, we strongly prefer candidates with a nursing background or significant experience in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience: We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff members, as well as manage conflicts and difficult situations.
