Responsibilities

  • Ensure machines are set up accurately for builds to begin and complete as scheduled, including turning over machines in accordance with established procedures.
  • Remove builds from machines and prepare them for the post-build teams.
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and conduct light maintenance tasks.
  • Complete raw material handling processes as needed to ensure raw materials inventories are at the correct level after each run of production equipment.
  • Absorb material management tasks such as material blending according to established recipes, performing powder sieve processes, or performing vat stirs.
  • Collaborate and communicate with pre- and post-build teams on build timelines and when issues arise.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance team to prevent machine issues and report problems immediately.
  • Absorb the removal and disposal of contaminated materials according to established procedures.
  • Absorb troubleshooting build crashes, removing crashed builds, and preparing machines for rebuilds.
  • Assist in completing assignments given by the Lead, Supervisor, or Production Manager.
  • Continually seek ways to improve work processes and individual performance.
  • Follow processes to maintain appropriate inventory and supply levels.
  • Follow and complete all applicable checklists.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and individual workspace and assist in general cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
  • Observe and follow all Protolabs Safety and Quality policies and procedures, including use of any required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, etc.) and safety/compliance training.
  • Maintain collaborative and respectful working relationships.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated computer aptitude for working with complex database applications, with Windows OS, and with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Prior experience operating/maintaining manufacturing machines.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Skills

  • Excellent punctuality.
  • Wear all required PPE (gloves, lab coats, etc.).
  • Ability to work while standing up to 75% of the time.

Pay

$20.14 - $24.90 per hour

Schedule

Friday - Monday, 10am - 8pm
