3D Printing Lab Technician, Robotics

Responsibilities

• Lead operation and maintenance of a fleet of 3D printers for robotics prototyping
• Develop workflows for print submission and tracking across engineering teams
• Optimize print jobs using diverse additive manufacturing technologies
• Perform post-processing tasks including finishing, bonding, and assembly prep
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality before distribution to engineering teams
• Collaborate with engineers on material selection and manufacturability
• Manage inventory of printing materials and ensure printer uptime
• Support mechanical builds and subsystem integration as a prototype technician

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with additive manufacturing systems in prototyping or product development
• Experience with various 3D printing technologies like FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, or PolyJet
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing materials and post-processing methods
• Familiarity with electromechanical assembly and robotics hardware systems
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple prototype requests efficiently
