Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting scene diagrams and exhibits
- Interpret, extract, and map spatial evidence from reports
- Perform and process 3D laser scans, structured light scans, and drone images
- Perform photogrammetry to extract spatial evidence from photographs
- 3D camera tracking, object tracking and modeling for animations and graphics
- Occasional field work and testing
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of engineering, surveying/mapping courses, or similar discipline
- 3 years of 3D tracking or surveying/mapping experience
- Excellent AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Excel skills
- Familiarity with 3D laser scanning workflow and point cloud processing
- Geometry and spatial understanding to perform photogrammetry
- High ethical and technical standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 3ds Max or Maya modeling and animation experience
- Experience using SynthEyes and/or 3D Equalizer
- Drone experience
- Field work involving scene documentation and data gathering
- Mechanical engineering degree
Annual Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 depending on skill and experience
