About the role
This position will work closely with the VP of 3D Solutions and the 3D Operations Manager, providing exposure to all aspects of operations and shipping 3D parts. The role involves improving and maintaining product quality for 3D manufacturing processes, offering a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control and organize 3D printed products
- Inspect and document First Article Inspection (FAI) for customers
- Work with ISO standards, including ISO9001 and ISO13485
- Collaborate with the 3D Operations Manager to apply systematic problem-solving methodologies for identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues
- Work cross-functionally in a team environment
- Collect and report parts locations, tracking information, and update databases
- Package and ship production daily using UPS/FedEx terminals
- Maintain and clean 3D equipment with the team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or operations
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- High-energy problem solver capable of driving tasks to closure
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience using an ERP system
