Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Marketing/Business
• Texas Teacher Certification in Marketing Education, Grades 8-12
• Two years of qualified and relevant work experience in Marketing and preparation in the skill area
• Current and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 2016 or Microsoft Office 2019
• Knowledge of Marketing TEKS
• Knowledge and understanding of the marketing concepts, marketing mix, economics, and free enterprise system as it relates to marketing
• Ability to organize and creatively problem solve
• Ability to complete accurate reports in a timely manner
• Knowledge and understanding of business communication and interpersonal, employment, and organizational skills in a business environment
• Willingness to sponsor Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) in the marketing/business area
• Ability to work with others in school, community, and industry representatives to support business education program and promote internship opportunities for students (Practicum students/programs)
• Excellent communication skills with administrators, teachers, and parents
