As a Signals Intelligence Analyst in the Army National Guard, you will intercept and analyze foreign communications to provide critical intelligence for national defense. This role involves relaying intelligence reports, studying radio signals to understand foreign military tactics, and supporting strategic and tactical planning.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain analytical working aids and databases
  • Assist in the emplacement, camouflage, and recovery of surveillance systems
  • Prepare technical and tactical intelligence reports
  • Analyze communications information using technical references

Training

  • Paid training with a regular paycheck

Pay

Most non-prior service candidates will initially earn between $200 and $250 per drill weekend, subject to change.

Requirements

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)
