35 Hour Life Skills Aide

About the role

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Life Skills Teacher and related service staff to support students with academic, behavioral, communication, social-emotional, and daily living needs in a structured educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic needs
• Provide behavioral support
• Facilitate communication strategies
• Offer social-emotional guidance
• Assist with daily living skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred
• Collaborative team player
• Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and interpersonal skills
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Willingness to participate in required trainings
