The Northeast Health District is seeking a 340B Compliance Specialist to join a dedicated team of public health professionals committed to improving the health of the communities we serve. This position is responsible for overseeing the District's participation in the HRSA 340B Program by ensuring compliance with federal regulations, supporting participating clinics, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain program integrity and optimize performance. Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee the District's HRSA 340B Program.
  • Ensure compliance with HRSA 340B Program requirements, OPA guidance, and applicable federal regulations.
  • Coordinate HRSA registration, recertification, audits, and corrective action plans.
  • Develop and maintain 340B policies, procedures, and staff training.
  • Monitor purchasing, inventory, patient eligibility, billing, and contract pharmacy compliance.
  • Analyze program performance, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for program improvement and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with Billing, Finance, IT, Central Supply, clinical leadership, and other members of the District's 340B team.

Requirements

Associate degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience related to area of assignment. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with the HRSA 340B Program.
  • Experience with HRSA 340B audits.
  • Experience in public health, healthcare compliance, pharmacy operations, revenue cycle management, or healthcare program administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Information Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with medical billing and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
