- Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Weekends as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as an electrical technician
- Journeyman license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferred
Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts
- Ensure systems and components meet established specifications
- Provide maintenance services for production, technical, and administrative personnel
- Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components
- Examine work orders and converse with machine operators to detect equipment problems and ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problem
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Perform tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Dig holes or trenches for the installation of conduit or supports
- Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets
- Communicate to Supervisor or Manager on any items that could adversely affect production
