2S Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is part of our maintenance team that supports and troubleshoots process equipment in our clean pharma manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include preventative/ predictive maintenance, equipment on-call support, and executing work orders.

Responsibilities

• Follows up on equipment performance, suggests and introduces improvements.
• Identifies, sets up and monitors the consumption and usage of critical spares with awareness of inventory flow and overall budget.
• Monitors equipment capability to ensure machines are functioning in accordance with parameters.
• Troubleshoots minor problems on production equipment.
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime.
• Participates in problem-solving sessions to determine root cause of issues and recommends corrective actions.
• Utilizes appropriate tools for minor maintenance and equipment set-ups.
• Ensures a smooth transition between shifts which may require extended hours or flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and GMP standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
