Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and clean the AMVR Evaporator in automatic and manual modes.
• Operate and clean the TFD and MSD spray dryers.
• Perform lab work as required.
• Recognize deficiencies in product.
• Operate equipment in preparation for cream shipments.
• Troubleshoot and solve any production problems during operation.
• Keep all records accurate and up to date.
• Keep equipment and plant in condition that will meet all regulatory agency requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Ability to understand the basic operation of evaporator and dryer and be capable of making process adjustments to them.
• Basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices.
• Basic math skills to adjust process changes.
• SAP experience preferred.

Skills

• Adaptability to change.
• Understanding of evaporator and dryer operations.
• Basic computer skills.

Benefits

The pay for this position is $25.80/hr - $26.45/hr. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.

Hours: 4:00PM-4:00AM

Qualifications

Working Conditions

• Ability to constantly stand/walk;
• Frequent bending/flexing/necking;
• Frequent gripping/reaching/lifting/pulling with L/R hands;
• Frequent handling of material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder;
• Frequent pushing/pulling/carrying;
• Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment;
• Average temperature of 50-60 degrees F.
