Job Summary

Tex Tech Industries is hiring a Weaver at their Winthrop location. This position runs a multi-loom assignment to produce first-quality material. Responsibilities include setup, operation, or tend of textile machines, maintenance of the work assignment, repair of warp, filling breaks, and other loom stops, record keeping, inspection, and replacement of cones. The position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting, kneeling, and bending, with occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.

Essential Functions

• Running a multi-loom assignment.
• Starting machines, monitoring operations, and making adjustments as needed.
• Maintaining the full work assignment in processing first-quality material.
• Repairing the warp, filling breaks, and other loom stops as needed.
• Recording all necessary information on tickets and production as required.
• Inspecting cloth while weaving to ensure quality material is being produced.
• Replacing empty cones with full ones when needed.
• Adhering to all safety rules and safe work practices at all times.
