About the role

2nd Shift Warehouse Selector at Gordon Food Service Distribution Center, 333 50th St., Wyoming, MI. You’ll be on your feet for 10‑hour shifts, lifting up to 100 pounds, working in the freezer, and receive dedicated training to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Selecting orders in a manual distribution center
• Lifting up to 100 pounds
• Working on feet for 10‑hour shifts
• Working in freezer (extreme cold) environments
• Following training from a dedicated team
• Maintaining speed and efficiency to earn higher pay
• Adhering to safety and productivity standards

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (freezer)
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must successfully pass a drug test and background check
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Veterans and active military members encouraged to apply
• If currently employed by a Gordon Food Service customer, must provide a letter of support from management if selected for interview

Pay

Starting wage $21.90 per hour (includes a $1.00 2nd‑shift premium). Opportunity for two pay raises in the first year. Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency; on average selectors take home 122% of base salary.
