2nd Shift Spray Painter

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks full-time Production Team Members for our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced environment, demonstrate ability to follow directions, and be self-motivated. Candidates with spray painting experience will be given preference.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a manual spray gun to apply adhesion promoters, basecoats, and clear coats.
  • Monitor parts and adjust spray patterns as needed.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other painters.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is in proper condition.
  • Perform additional finishing tasks as needed, including wet sanding, polishing, and parts hanging.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate spray gun for entire shift.
  • Able to wear breathable air hood.
  • No known allergies or adverse reactions to paint, solvents, Tyvek, or Latex.
  • Operation of production equipment and tools within standard operating procedures while maintaining quality output.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions, and be self-motivated.
  • Consistent work history; willingness to learn new skills (previous manufacturing experience not required).

Pay

Starting pay: $24.05 per hour, plus $1.25 per hour for 2nd shift differential.

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 2:45 PM – 10:55 PM (training period on 1st shift).
