2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm)

About the role

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This position offers a competitive pay range of $21.00 per hour plus a $.50 shift differential, with a flexible 2nd Shift schedule from 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct drivers, sign in/out drivers, verify paperwork, and assign dock doors for inbound and outbound loads
• Keep trailer inventory accurate with real-time updates on doors and yard reports
• Coordinate yard moves, work with spotters to ensure smooth yard activity, and handle paperwork like Bills of Lading and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate schedules, door reports, and trailer inventory
• Deliver great customer service as the friendly face of the facility for both internal and external customers
• Reconciliate shipments with packing slips and manage drop lot activity
• Schedule keeper, maintaining inbound and outbound schedules to keep operations seamless
• Error spotter, reporting discrepancies to leadership to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Team collaborator, working closely with shift management and leads to hit shift goals
• Lifelong learner, actively participating in training programs
• Efficiency expert, performing all tasks safely and on time
• Adaptable go-getter, taking on additional duties as needed

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Tech-savvy – Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus

Detail-oriented – Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Great communicator – Strong verbal and written skills

Team player – Works well with others to achieve shift goals

Reliable – we count on you, and so does the team

Qualifications
