2nd Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Responsibilities

• Process outbound and receive inbound shipments in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Pack, verify, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Cookily coordinate shipments daily with third-party logistics providers and transportation carriers.
• Work closely with customer service and production teams to ensure product availability allowing for timely shipment of customer orders.
• Verify shipment accuracy and report discrepancies, shortages, and damages.
• Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment as required.

About You

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is required.
• Basic computer skills, experience with warehouse management or ERP systems (IBM AS400 or other), and experience with UPS/Fedex domestic and international shipping are preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• A strong attention to detail is required.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is necessary.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods is required.

Pay

Competitive pay scale ranging from $20 to $23 per hour, based on experience and expertise.
