2nd Shift Saw Operator (Hand Forge)
About the role
We are seeking a Saw Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to measure and cut slabs according to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut slabs to customer specifications
- Work safely and maintain an organized, lean work environment
- Complete start-up equipment inspection
- Operate the saw via hand or computer program
- Replace and maintain the saw and its parts
- Collaborate with other employees
- Operate a forklift
Requirements
- Strong commitment to good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to operate in a drug-free workplace
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed
- Must be able to pass a written and practical forklift certification exam
Skills
- Wear proper personal protection equipment at all times
